ERIE AVENUE CONDO

The homeowner decided to downsize from a traditional four-bedroom suburban style home and purchased this minimalist LEED certified condo. To accommodate their lifestyle and storage needs, built-in cabinetry was designed to complement the existing architectural language and material palette of the home. Bamboo veneer was chosen based on its color, sustainable values and simplistic grain pattern. To provide warmth to the space and create a visual anchor between the cabinetry the linear burner unit was surrounded with vein cut stone. The stone complimented both the color and the textures of the existing flooring, concrete columns and the warm bamboo tones of cabinetry. Particular attention was given to each joint, grain pattern, and dimension. RDA also assisted client with paint, furniture and lighting selections.Building and interiors were designed originally by Jose Garcia.
